Taxis
Travel by taxi is common in Morocco. There are two kinds: Petite Taxi (used only within towns) and the Grande Taxi (for trips between towns, and for larger groups).
Prices for petite taxi are reasonable and it's the law that taxis in town should have a meter - although they are not always switched on. Insist that the driver starts the meter.

Hospitals - There are excellent well equipped hospitals in all of the main cities and the Government Hospitals will often provide free or cheap emergency care. Be aware however that you may be expected to pay for treatment and therefore you should have fully comprehensive medical insurance including cover for repatriation costs.

Train Information

Trains in Morocco are among the best in Africa, efficient, comfortable and the fares are cheap. You rarely have to book in advance, which is good since you can't book trains outside of Morocco. Trains travel between Tangier, Meknes, Fes, Oujda, Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech. The Moroccan national train service ONCF lists all the schedules and fares.
Bus Information
There are three national bus companies that operate between most major towns and cities in Morocco.
They are Supratours, CTM and SATAS.
